Your chances of ending up on a tropical island with your favorite writer are about to improve a notch. The Jaipur Literature Festival is set to head to the Maldives next year, with its galaxy of writers, artists and cultural taste makers.
Considered the “greatest literary spectacle on Earth,” Jaipur Literature Festival has brought together some of the most influential names in arts and literature for over a decade. The event usually takes place in January, with satellite editions around the world. JLF 2022 is scheduled for January 28 – February 1 in Jaipur, to be followed in May by JLF Soneva Fushi in the Maldives.

Soneva Fushi will host one of the international stages of the Jaipur Literature Festival in 2022 on the beautiful island of Kunfunadhoo. JLF Soneva Fushi will take place over 10 days, including two weekends, from May 13 to 22, 2022.
Currently, the festival lineup includes historian Peter Frankopan and writer Shobhaa Dé, as well as writers Namita Gokhale and William Dalrymple, who also run JLF. (The full schedule and schedule are in progress.)
