Bradford Dudley Hill on the verge of a fall as West Bowling wins again

WEST Bowling sits third in the National Conference League Division 1, as they edged out Milford in a thriller.

Milford are bottom of the table but produced an inspired display at Horsfall, before finally succumbing to a 24-20 defeat.

Logan Simpson, Richard Lumb, Lewis Taylor and Kyle Moore went to score for the Bradford side, with Harry Williams successfully scoring four goals.

In the Second Division, Bradford Dudley Hill was involved in a close contest himself but his relegation looks to be all but sealed as he eventually lost 22-16 at home to Wigan St Judes.

The win for Wigan means Dudley Hill is now seven points from safety.

Drighlington are ninth in Division 3, having secured an excellent 26-18 win over Bentley in mid-table on Friday night.

In the Yorkshire Men’s League Premier Division, Brighouse Rangers moved up to fourth with a 38-26 win over Nottingham Outlaws.

In the Second Division, Wibsey Warriors remain fifth after losing 30-18 to top-flight Ossett Trinity Tigers.

Keighley remain top of Division Three after picking up a surprise win over Hull Wyke.

Wyke also picked up a 24-0 victory, this time over York Acorn. This bumps Wyke up to third.

West Bowling Academy remains bottom of this division, having lost 36-20 to Heworth over the weekend.

In Division Six, Drighlington’s YML team delivered an unsurprising win to the Shaw Cross Sharks.

Finally, in Division 7B, Wyke A and Queensbury A played out an 8-8 draw, with the latter picking up two points already at the weekend after picking up a surprise win over Bramley Buffaloes A.

Birkenshaw Blue Dogs lost 28-18 at home to King Cross Park Academy.
